We Are Looking For a CAREGiver in MT. Vernon, IN !!!

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and transportation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer’s Care

*No previous experience necessary - Paid skills training provided by Home Instead*

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
To be eligible for employment with us, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

1. Passion – A genuine love for caring for others.
2. Seniors – An interest in working closely with older adults.
3. Daily Living – Ability to assist with daily living activities in the home.
4. Friendly Communication – Ability to engage with clients in a warm and respectful manner.
5. Screening – Willingness to complete all required background checks and screenings.
6. Driver’s License – Must hold a valid driver's license and valid current auto insurance.
