Job Description GCP Architect We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GCP services, cloud architecture, security, automation, and scalability. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and management of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Key Requirements Collaboration & Consultation: Work with development, DevOps, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing workflows. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues. Proven experience as a GCP Architect or similar role in cloud computing. Strong expertise in GCP services, networking, security, and best practices. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of security, compliance, and identity management in the cloud. Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization strategies. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture & Design: Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and more. 5+ years of experience in Solution Development: Develop cloud-native and hybrid solutions, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and optimal performance. 5+ years of experience in Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2. 5+ years of experience in Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Leverage Terraform, Deployment Manager, or other IaC tools for automated provisioning and management. 3+ years of experience in Performance Optimization: Monitor cloud workloads, optimize resource usage, and recommend improvements for cost efficiency and performance. 5+ years of experience in Migration & Modernization: Lead cloud migration initiatives, including rehosting, refactoring, and re-platforming legacy applications. Preferred Qualifications Google Cloud Certified Professional Architect or equivalent certification. Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments. Knowledge of big data, machine learning, and analytics on GCP. Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.). Must reside in the US Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is ($80.00 - 95.00/Hour). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
