Job Summary:
Hotel Cleveland is seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable Full-Time AM Barista/Server to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. This dual-role position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality coffee and breakfast service to our guests with professionalism and genuine hospitality. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, has a positive attitude, and enjoys being part of a team that creates memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Barista Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages with consistency and attention to detail
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized coffee station
• Upsell pastries, breakfast items, and specialty beverages
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Server Duties:

• Greet guests promptly and warmly in the restaurant or lobby dining area
• Take and deliver breakfast orders accurately and efficiently
• Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and accommodate dietary needs when possible
• Set and clear tables, restock service stations, and maintain overall cleanliness of the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista and/or server in a hotel, caf, or restaurant preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Morning shifts typically begin between 5:30 AM - 6:00 AM
