Must Have skills: Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Component Placement, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design, Design for Assembly (DFA), Signal Integrity, Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing

Responsibilities:

• Component placement, design rule setup in CES
• Power planes, signal routing, and length matching
• Silkscreen design and pre-Gerber/ODB++ preparation
• ODB++ file generation and Valor DFM feedback incorporation
• Creation of PCB manufacturing and assembly drawings
• Coordination between US and India teams

Key Deliverables & Phases:

PCB Manufacturing Files (Onsite & Offsite)

• Manufacturing rule checks, output files, assembly guidelines, and component location files

Analysis & Design

• Critical component placement and restriction checks
• Design for assembly clearance checks

SI/PI, FPGA, Thermal Implementation

• Routing of critical signals
• Signal integrity (SI) & power integrity (PI) updates
• Thermal analysis updates

Manufacturing Design Files

• Electrical design rule checks
• Design for manufacturing validation
• Gerber & ODB++ generation for fabrication
• Assembly notes, guidelines, and pick-and-place files

Design Implementation & Setup

• Fixed component placement, height limitations, and clearance checks
• Connector and mounting placements
