ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Ensure policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed Advise guests of dangers and enforce regulations Respond to emergencies and administer first-aid when necessary Work independently and maintain focus for extended periods Evaluate safety conditions and activate emergency plans if needed Complete daily opening/closing checklists Inspect facilities, equipment, and water safety Report maintenance issues Communicate effectively with patrons, co-workers, and management Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Must be at least 15 years old and able to obtain a work permit if under 18 Availability for at least 3 days a week, including one weekend day Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours Reliability and commitment to scheduled shifts Enthusiastic, outgoing, and willing to interact with the public Reliable transportation Ability to obtain and maintain a StarGuard Elite Basic Life Support certification Preferred Prior lifeguard experience StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification Availability to work weekends and holidays
