Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate AP Physics Instructor to join a supportive network of educators working with high school students (grades 9-12). As an AP Tutor, you will help students achieve their academic goals by creating personalized lesson plans that align with their unique learning needs and support their preparation for the AP Physics exam.

Location: Remote (Online)
Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour
Hours: 6-12 hours per week
Work Schedule: Flexible hours between 3 PM and 9 PM CST on weekdays and 10 AM - 4 PM CST on weekends.

About the Role:

As an AP Physics Tutor, you will:

Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions for high school students preparing for the AP Physics exam.
Customize lesson plans to suit individual student needs and learning styles.
Schedule tutoring sessions that are typically 60-90 minutes in length.
Maintain regular, reliable tutoring assignments to ensure consistent support for students.
Use online tools to deliver engaging lessons and foster student success.

Ideal Candidate:

Holds a Bachelor's degree and a valid teaching certification.
Has prior experience teaching or tutoring AP Physics at the high school level.
Is passionate about helping students succeed and committed to creating a supportive learning environment.
Demonstrates strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way.
Is comfortable working with online teaching platforms and adapting to a virtual classroom environment.
