Job Description The Analytical Development -Testing, Operations and Automation team (AD- TOA) within Biopharmaceutical Science, manufacturing and operations -CGT CMC is seeking an individual for 6 months contract who is able to: Work on a Wednesday to Sunday schedule and flexible to work in both locations of Vertex buildings within 1.5-mile distance when required. Flexible to work with different schedules when required and different teams when needed. Carry out routine manual or automated separation-based testing (LC & LCMS) in support of process development. Actively involve in execution of study sampling plan and sample preparation workflow (dissociation and fixation of cells for flow cytometry) to support process development and characterization. Be a strong team player contributing to group priorities and deliverables with great communication skills. Maintain excellent written documentation of completed experiment (ELN, LIMS) and maintain knowledge share systems (MS-Teams and share points). Ability to follow and understand SOPs and review protocols or reports as needed. Manage and track inventory for sample and reagents as needed for several projects. Participate in a data management activity to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Performs other duties as assigned. Education level and/or relevant experience Required: BS or MS in Cell & Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline with BS 2+ years experience or MS with 1+ years experience. Preferred: Relevant industry experience in the biologics or cell and gene therapy space. Knowledge and skills Required: Has good experience with flow cytometry technique and other cellular based Possesses excellent pipetting skills. Possess standard lab safety regulations and work in GLP like laboratory environment Has excellent communication skills and effectively coordinates work across different teams Preferred:

• Industry experience in cell and gene therapy space.
• Experience with assay automation and assay high throughput techniques.
• Experience with sample management and ELN/LIMS systems.
• Experience working with pluripotent/hematopoietic stem cells.

Contract Length: 6 month with a chance of extension. Pay Range $32/hr. - $33/hr.
