Description The School of Art, Art History & Design is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator at 50% time. This is a 50% time position with full benefits. This position will assist in the completion of a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including those related to office supplies, managing visitors, key and access management, event planning and coordination, and being a "point of presence" for departmental business. This position provides administrative support to the DEO. Key Responsibilities: First point of contact for SAAHD business via phones and walk-ins. Mail - Send/receive/disseminate Campus mail, USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL and other deliveries. Maintain SAAHD website. Manage the Visiting Artist/Scholar program, including scheduling, travel arrangements and payments. Manage key check out system. Manage room scheduling in Astra. Oversee departmental e-mail account and respond to requests for information. Manage the calendar and meeting schedule of the DEO. Qualifications Education Required: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Required Qualifications: 6 months - 1 year administrative office experience. Evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent objectives, projects or activities making effective judgements as to prioritizing and time allotment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Desired Qualifications: Working knowledge of University of Iowa policies, procedures and regulations.
