Job Details Job Location : FSB Winona - Winona, MN Position Type : Part Time Education Level : High School Diploma/GED Salary Range : Undisclosed Job Category : Nonprofit - Social Services Description Join us as a Monitor with our Safe Visitation/Tracking team in Winona, MN! BASIC PURPOSE: This position will be under the direct supervision of the Program Supervisor. The Monitor is responsible for monitoring families' adherence to visitation rules and procedures, ensuring safety for all families. Monitors will track juvenile and adult clients via phone, unannounced face-to-face visits, or other means. Flexibility to work night, weekend, holiday, and some daytime hours is required. Completion of documentation of services is also expected. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Transport children to and from visits following applicable laws and policies. Supervise visits between non-custodial parents and children, maintaining safety and ensuring rules are followed. Report child abuse or neglect according to policies. Communicate effectively with all visit participants and involved parties. Intervene or end visits if behavior is inappropriate. Address concerns with case managers and supervisors. Follow policies and procedures for safe supervision of visits and exchanges. Conduct face-to-face or phone checks of clients in various settings. Perform Breathalyzer and Urine tests as directed. Document services performed and submit timely reports. Participate in required trainings related to monitoring, tracking, testing, etc. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality, including attending staff meetings. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Essential Knowledge, Skills & Environment: Education, Training & Work Experience: High School diploma or GED required; a bachelor's or associate degree in human services or related field is preferred or relevant experience may suffice. Must be 20 years or older with a valid driver’s license. Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and be sensitive to diversity. Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Experience with domestic violence or child protection cases is preferred but not required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Equipment & Applications: Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Email. Work Environment & Physical Demands: Work occurs in indoor and outdoor settings; lifting children may be required.
