Role Overview

We are seeking a VP of Digital & Growth to lead all digital, marketing, and customer-facing efforts. This role is both strategic and operational — managing a cross-functional team and owning the full customer journey, from acquisition through retention.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires exceptional analytical thinking, a strong command of digital performance levers, and a deep understanding of what drives engagement, conversion, and long-term loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

1. Growth & Performance Marketing

• Own and optimize paid media strategy across Meta, Google, and emerging platforms

• Lead weekly performance reviews and continuously improve ROAS, CAC, and other key KPIs

• Manage and mentor the Performance Marketing Manager

• Oversee both paid and organic UGC, ensuring alignment with performance goals

2. Retention & Lifecycle Marketing

• Develop and execute retention strategies, including email, SMS, and loyalty

• Build out customer journeys to maximize repeat purchase rate and LTV

• Work closely with the creative and product teams to bring lifecycle touchpoints to life

3. Organic & Brand Marketing

• Oversee social strategy, influencer partnerships, and content creation

• Collaborate with Creative to ensure brand and message consistency across platforms

• Ensure storytelling supports both brand equity and business growth

4. Site Experience, SEO & Conversion Optimization (CRO)

• Partner with the Head of Site/Product to improve UX, conversion funnels, and merchandising logic

• Lead CRO efforts using analytics, heatmaps, A/B testing, and customer feedback

• Oversee SEO strategy to improve discoverability and drive qualified traffic

• Prioritize product roadmap based on business impact and customer insights

5. Customer Experience (CX)

• Oversee the CS team, with a focus on quality, speed, and satisfaction

• Improve post-purchase experience and integrate customer feedback into digital strategy

• Own customer touchpoints across the journey to drive delight and retention

6. Data, Insights & Attribution

• Build and maintain dashboards to guide marketing and product decision-making

• Lead customer segmentation, cohort analysis, and LTV modeling

• Own the attribution framework and continuously evolve it based on learnings

7. Leadership & Cross-Functional Impact

• Lead a multidisciplinary team across performance, lifecycle, site, product, social, and CS

• Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team to define priorities and KPIs

• Bring clarity, focus, and a strong POV on what drives smart, sustainable growth

8. Growth Initiatives & Global Expansion

• Identify and test new marketing channels to unlock incremental growth

• Explore partnerships, affiliates, and platform-specific opportunities

• Develop strategies to expand RUTI’s reach in international markets

Requirements

• 7+ years in digital marketing, growth, or eCommerce leadership

• Strong analytical mindset — fluent in data, experimentation, and optimization

• Proven success managing both acquisition and retention channels

• Experience with paid and organic content strategies, including UGC and influencer

• Hands-on expertise with tools like GA4, Klaviyo, Shopify, Meta Ads, heatmaps, BI tools

• Strong leadership and team-building skills in a fast-paced environment

• Strategic and creative — you think in numbers but feel the brand
